Fleetwood RV - My 2012 Bounder 35K Seat Issues _ Class action maybe?

I have a 2012 bounder with 13000 miles that is stored indoors. My Flexsteel Ultra Leather seats have started to disintegrate. Both Flexsteel and Fleetwood did nothing for me. Flexsteel offered to sell me new Ultra Leather covers for the seats - Driver seat $375.00 Passenger: $395.00. This price does not include installation. We own many Fleetwood RVs, and just like a home things break and need to be fixed. We purchase many parts and do our fixing. We have for the most part been happy with Fleetwood. Obviously there are many areas of the RV they can engineer a little better such as the latches that hold the ladders in place. I'm sure everyone who has use the ladder a few times has found that those latches are extremely weak and will fall off or get loose. But the... Read more

After one year of Michigan roads our $100,000.00 rv is falling apart! We have a set of cabinets that are falling off. It appears that the installer missed any solid wood in the 10 screws the they put in. The microwave screws are pulling though the wood that is to hold it up. The slide outs are leaving little gifts of twisted washers and the occasional nut. And now the Hide-A-Loft is not working! Since Fleet wood only warranties their products... Read more

I own a 2014 Fleetwood Storm that I purchased from General RV in North Canton Ohio. Service at General was terrible. One example, to fix rust on the undercarriage of the entire unit that was months old, they sprayed 25 cans of cheap spray paint all over everything. To the point that there was even overspray on the fiberglass exterior. So now I have a "brand new" rusting RV with all the wires, connections, component labels etc. spray... Read more

I purchased a brand new Excursion expecting a quality motorhome to travel with my 3 young kids and wife. We chose the model with the bunks for the added bed space and nice floorplan. This couch is well designed but the quality is HORRIBLE. Purchase this unit from a out of town dealer as we appeared to get a better deal. Problem after problem with our 2014 Fleetwood Terra 31'. Screws simply falling out EVERYWHERE! AC lost 2 of 4 mounting screws, but won't take new screws! The entire dash rattles so bad it has partly detached! Driver side window seal and locking mechanism simply fell we have no locking window. Safety hazard with drivers window and water drainage from AC, window so permanently fogged, we cannot see the side mirror clearly! Can't... Read more

Driving back from S Carolina to Florida. We were not even 50 miles out of Myrtle beach when the cabinet above driver and passenger fell while we were driving. Could have been really bad if we were on interstate. The whole cabinet fell on us. Once it was down we looked at what it was put together with and it looks like just small finishing nails. I am surprised it was not screwed together. Then about 50 more miles our stairs would not stay... Read more

Love our Fleetwood flair, hate Goshen RV in Indiana who sold it to us. They were awful, it was a cash sale, salesman John was so rude and never said thank you for the sale. Lied to us on so many things, to many to list.

I have a 2014 Bounder, I bought new from day one nothing but problems. $10,000 to repair stearing problems, no dealer help no factory help stated it was my problem. Problem with slider dealer stated no problem would not help factory was no help, took to a real mechanics found problem in 5 minutes. Brand new Rockwood HW pop up. Was rushed through orientation, told to write down any issues and it would be taken care of. After first set-up, front bed wouldn't slide in. Reported it same week. They are denying the claim, saying it was my fault. I think something within one week of owning should be covered. Had several other issues after first camp trip with the unit- those will probably get denied too. Will never buy a fleetwood product... Read more
