2016 Fleetwood Rv Bounder Rv Review
Fleetwood AC draining on window issue
We have an issue with the Storm someone might be able to help with or give us guidance. There is a spout (using spout for a lack of a better word) located on each side of the coach over the front side windows. Now the issue… the air conditioner drains out the passenger side drain and directly onto the passenger window and down the side of the coach. When this accrues the drainage causes spotting and etching (like very bad water spots) on the passenger side window under this drain. We called Fleetwood last week and they did not address the drainage issue at all but put us on hold and came back sometime later and said to use vinegar to remove the etching/staining. We used Windex with Vinegar, a strong mix of vinegar and water, CLR, etc., and nothing removes this etching.
I cannot believe that Fleetwood would design the Roof AC to drain directly onto a window and side of the coach but that this must be a design flaw. I am not an engineer but would think the AC would be designed to drain out the bottom of the coach like it does on a car.
What can be done to remedy this issue and get the etching off of the window and side of the coach? All this mess and only a 3 month old coach…
I sent Generals RV’s Service adviser in Dover, FL (where we have been taking the RV and his reply: The gutter spouts are designed to keep the water away from the coach. I wonder why they are not doing that. If vinegar is not working on getting the windows cleaned, I have had to use a razor blade to get the film off. Be very careful, as the window can be scratched. I don’t know the answer to why, maybe the sealant is not full behind the gutter and it is dripping down the sidewall. Yes unfortunately they are designed to drain on the roof. There is no fix to that. I have seen people make dams, and paths using roof sealant, it works ok, but very cosmetically unappealing.
Bottom line is that I just cannot believe that Fleetwood would design the AC to drain so it permanently etches the window and side of the unit. Well this will make me check off Fleetwood (any REV Group products) for the list for our next coach.
Since we are new (3 months now) to this RV joy I am reaching out for any suggestions!!!

Warranty denial
Brand new Rockwood HW pop up. Was rushed through orientation, told to write down any issues and it would be taken care of.
After first set-up, front bed wouldn't slide in. Reported it same week. They are denying the claim, saying it was my fault. I think something within one week of owning should be covered.
Had several other issues after first camp trip with the unit- those will probably get denied too. Will never buy a fleetwood product again.
I would think that they would want new customers to become loyal repeat customers, but I guess that isn't important to them. Lesson learned.

2015 Fleetwood Discovery Issues
I am so sorry to hear all your issues. I just purchased a 2015 discovery 37R left over. Did you finally get everything repaired?
I am having a few issues too. Gas heat will not go on just air.
Only way it will work is if I am plugged into a 50 amp plug.
Fireplace only glows no blower, window in bathroom hinge is detached from window. Water faucet shower outdoors will not pull out from panel. I am getting very disappointed with the customer service from Fleetwood. Dealer in my area will not service my motorhome because I didn't purchase it through them.
Any advice?
Very discouraged

Scheduled for service on the 6th of October
I sent this list directly to Fleetwood before taking it in for service on Oct. 6th, 2015. I received a call back from a lady in the service dept. She was not much help, saying that it was out of the factory warranty. The extended warranty that I purchased is from another company. I told her that most of the problems were ongoing. I told her about the problems with the noisy leveling jacks and she said that I should have the dealer replace the jack fluid with “Mercon 5” because they have had a problem with this and the fluid change should take care of it. She also told me that she would send me an email with her contact information. I never received the email.
Today 10-16-2015 the dealership called and said it was ready for pick up. When I asked what they did I was told the following:
The circuit board that they previously replaced for the furnace was a bad
board. They changed it again .
The plastic trim that holds the refrigerator front panel has a broken clip,
they swapped the top trim piece with the bottom one. It is not covered
under warranty, so I will be charged.
The broken drawer latch will not be covered under warranty, again
another charge.
They could not get approval from the factory to change out the fluid for
the leveling
Jacks, and if I want it done I will have to pay for it.

We've had our Fleetwood Excursion for owner two years. We haven't had any problems.
Just one complaint, the dash is squeaky.
My husband has had his CDL license for over 40 years and stops every 4 hours and does a walk around the vehicle. Most problems in this forum could of been avoided by doing this he said.

I have a 2016 Fleetwood Storm and have the same problem with the water running down both front windows staining them with some kind of film like stain. I have no solutions of how to clean the stains off as I haven't found anything that will work as of yet but I did find a help for the dripping water on the windows.
I went down to Holiday World RV and purchased some RV gutter extenders and installed myself. They are about two and a half inches long and snap connect to your gutter but I also put a drop of super glue and a little caulk just as a precaution for the driving wind and them being blown off.
So far they work really well keeping the water off the front windows and also the back sides of the motor home. Very pleased with them.
